| Flight Delays, Diversions or Cancellations |
Sometimes flights are delayed, sometimes diverted and less often cancelled. Although we track flights via the internet the information given is not always up to date or accurate. To allow us to still be able to provide you with a transfers service, it is important that we know the true situation.
Please read the following notes which tell you what to do in each case.
DELAYS / LATE ARRIVALS
If your flight TO Fuerteventura is delayed by less than 2 hours, do not worry we will will still be there to meet you,
If the flight is delayed by MORE THAN 2 HOURS, please let us know by a phone call or text message to either 0121 286 1201 (phone) or (0034) 608 724 032, (phone or text)
If in either case the delay means that you will arrive after 20.30, we will still be there to meet & transport you but may have to revise the service.
For example late arrivals who booked a PRIVATE transfer may have to share with another group, from the same flight to the same resort. This is because our drivers are governed by drivng and duty hours limitations and must have obligatory rest periods before the following day.
DIVERSIONS
If your flight TO Fuerteventura is diverted to leave from a different airport YOU MUST LET US KNOW, BY PHONE OR TEXT, see above for numbers.
This is because we track flights via the internet. Quite often diverted originating flights do not have up to date information posted. As a result we will not know when to expect you which could lead to difficulties in allocating transport.
FLIGHT CANCELLATIONS
More rarely flights are cancelled. In these cases passengers are either accomodated overnight or offered a new flight or offered a refund.
Because we have no idea which options you will be offered or elect, we will not know if or when you are coming or not
YOU MUST ADVISE US if you are coming or not, and if so your new flight schedule. If you do NOT, we will not be expecting you and may not be there for you !
THERE IS NO FINANCIAL PENALTY FOR CANCELLATIONS
We prefer to know if you not coming, for whatever reason.
Because we are virtually the only service that allows payment on arrival, if you do not come you do not pay, but PLEASE let us know
